In August of 2004 the South Boston Fire-EMS purchased a new building located on Wilborn Avenue.  This building, formally a supermarket, would soon become our new support building to be used for events such as fund raisers, monthly meetings, the company Christmas party, etc.

We are fortunate enough have volunteers with a variety of skills.  Everything from the electrical wiring, the carpentry, to the painting was done by our volunteers.  We did have several volunteers from the community volunteer their time to assist us in tiling the floor.  We are greatly appreciative to these citizens.

After many months of labor and time the building was ready for it's grand opening.  October 7, 2004 was the official ribbon cutting and first night of bingo.  A huge turn out of approximately 280 people showed up to play.
