SBFC holds Golf Tournament to Raise Funds for Daniels

South Boston Fire-EMS held a golf tournament to raise funds to assist Kevin in his stem cell therapy.  We had a tremendous response from the community.  Donations and sponsorship poured in from local businesses, surrounding fire and rescue agencies, local law enforcement and from citizens from all over Virginia as well as some from North Carolina.

The day of the tournament teams came out of the wood work to participate.  We actually had an overflow and in addition to our planned afternoon rounds had an unplanned morning session in order to accommodate all the teams.

We raised enough money to send Kevin to his first treatment.  Below are pictures from our tournament.

On behalf of Kevin and his family, we would like to thank everyone who helped us reach our goal and giving Kevin a better chance at recovery.
