South Boston Fire - EMS

Auxiliary Easter Egg Hunt

Each year the Auxiliary sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt.  This year the children were divided into three age groups: 1-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds, and 6-10 year olds.

Plastic eggs loaded with a variety of candy are hidden for the children in each group to find.  About 50 plastic eggs in each group contain  numbers.  The children take these eggs to the prize tables and exchange their numbers for a variety of prizes that include toys, stuffed animals, pencils, markers, and much more.

Each groups also has two "prize eggs" hidden that.  The children who finds these prize eggs  win  large Easter baskets.

And of course let's not forget the visit by the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Bunny and Fire Pup both arrive before the hunts starts making a grand entrance by way of fire truck.  Both stay through out the event greeting and taking pictures with all the children.
